Black History Month – we asked Maria Weaver, President of WMX and Darcus Beese, EVP, Warner Music UK, to share their journeys as Black executives. Both come from families with a deep legacy of Black leadership, Black resistance, and Black changemaking. And both are Change Makers here at WMG – and in the broader music industry – today.

For Ep. 2 – International Women's Day – we asked Bernadette Rotolo, SVP of Global Systems and Leila Oliveira, President, Warner Music Brazil, to share their journeys as women executives. Both are trailblazers – among the few executive-level women in their respective fields – and both are committed Change Makers, increasing access and equity for women here at WMG and throughout the music industry.

For Ep. 3 – International Transgender Day of Visibility – We asked Jay Loria, Manager, Content Protection & Anti-Piracy at WMX, to share his experience of being trans in the music industry and as a leader in WMG's Pride ERG. Jay is a dedicated Change Maker, increasing equity for trans folks here at WMG and throughout the music industry.

For Ep. 4 – Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month – We asked Jon Chen (Senior A&R Director at WCM), TJ Landig (SVP of Marketing, Warner Records) and Kaona Cheung (Regional A&R Manager, Warner Music Asia) to share their own experiences and provide some powerful insights on Asian representation in the industry.

For Ep. 6 of our Change Makers series – Black Music Month – Kevin Liles (Chairman and CEO, 3EE), Lanre Gaba (Co-President of Black Music, Atlantic Records), and Andre Torres (SVP, Global Catalog Development & Marketing) share how they view Black music as moving people, culture, and the world – and what they do to make sure it is celebrated, honored, and cultivated at Warner Music Group and beyond.

For Ep. 6 of our Change Makers series - Pride – Noémie Lefort (Marketing Manager, EMEA, WMI) and Stef Teng (Head of DEI, Asia) share their inspirations, advocacy and ERG work, and experience of being LGBTQ+ in the industry.

For International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, we use the work and music of Sagkeeng First Nation member Vince Fontaine, his daughter Gabrielle Fontaine, and their Indigenous pop band Indian City, to spotlight the history of mistreatment of Indigenous peoples in Canada, as seen in songs like “Through the Flood” about missing and murdered Indigenous women.

For Ep. 8 of our Change Makers series - Hispanic Heritage Month - Lazaro Hernandez (Vice President of A&R, US Latin & Latin America, Warner Chappell Music) and Eric DiMonte (Director of Talent Acquisition, WMG) talk about the power and growth of Latin music and culture, and how the WMúsica ERG creates belonging here at WMG.
